These terms apply when you download and use phantom. By using the app, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

The app

phantom is desktop software for macOS that joins and responds to class polling sessions on a schedule you configure. It is currently free to use during beta. We may change, pause, or end the beta at any time.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use phantom, including making sure your use complies with the rules and policies of your school, instructors, and the platforms you connect. You agree to use phantom only with accounts and sessions you are authorized to access.

No warranty

phantom is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Polling platforms can change at any time, and we cannot guarantee that phantom will work for every class, platform, or session, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of phantom, including any academic outcomes.

Changes

We may update these terms as phantom develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
